John Dawson will run an amazing improv workshop with us at DCU drama.
Improvisation helps develop one's creativity, confidence, spontaneity and collaboration skills, making performers more reactive and "in the moment".
John Dawson is famous for the shows "Whose Line Is It Anyways?" and also "Saturday Night Live". John Dawson has worked internationally as a theatre producer/director, acting coach, actor and produced screenwriter. He has studied, written and acted with numerous comedy troupes including Irelands very own the Gaiety School of Acting, The Actors Centre in London, and Toronto's Equity Showcase Theatre.
John served as art director on films and theatrical works including an Off-Broadway production in New York. As a writer/director he has had productions Dublin's Project Theatre, Andrew's Lane Theatre and the Edinburgh Festival.
