David Cullen
2011 - 2012
'Sup homies! My name's David Cullen (known to most as Dave). I'm a computer applications student by day and DCU Drama's Tech officer aka "The Techie" by night.
As your charming tech guy for this year, it's my duty to keep control of all our behind the scenes stuff such as lighting, sound, backstage, set etc. It's an awesome role on the drama committee as it's very rewarding and you're more or less involved in all of DCU Drama's shows in one way or another.
This will be my 4th year involved with DCU Drama. Since I first joined them, I've more or less tried my hand in everything really. Whether it's singing, dancing, acting, writing, producing, directing, behind the scenes or tech. It's a fantastic society to be a part of. Not only do you make great friends for life, but the experiences you will have will make you a better performer and a better person.
If there's any new and old members out there interested in tech or would like to learn a thing or two from it, there will be a few tech workshops to be held during this year. So please come along and i'll show you all a fancy trick or two. Until then, godspeed and party on! :D
Emma Wall
2010 - 2011
Hi guys my name is Emma & I am your Tech Officer for this year.
I'm a second year Communications student and I've been involved with drama since I started in DCU last year.
I got into the tech side of things last year and did the light operating for last years musical "Hair" and also the "Glee Showcase" which was produced by Drama & Music Soc.
From those productions I went on to do lights for shows in Dublin, Wicklow and Waterford.
I can't wait to get stuck in this year and I'm delighted to be on committee. I hope to get as many people involved with the tech side of things as I can this year so if you want to learn about lights or sound don't hesitate to drop me a mail! Don't be shy, the more the merrier!
Serious lolz at stake if you don't get involved....the future is in your hands!

2009 - 2010
How's it going everyone! I'm Dave (known to others as David, Davie or the odd time, Rick) & I'm your brand-spanking new techie for this year. I'm a 1st year Computer Applications student, but this is my 2nd year as part of DCU Drama.
My role as Technical Officer (or simply "Techie" to most) is being in charge of all the equipment & revolutionary technology that we used for every single one of our shows, whether it's lighting, sound, set or costume.
I've been involved in drama, in general, for the best part of 3 years doing shows such as Little Shop Of Horrors & West Side Story. With DCU Drama, I've been involved in the two successful productions of Rent & the classic Shakespearian tale, Twelfth Night. I look forward to an epic year this year!
Adam Murphy
2008 - 2009
Bonjour y'all, I'm Adam, a 2nd Year Physics with Astronomy student and your friendly neighbourhood Tech Officer. Basically, I take care of the...tech. It’ll be my job to make sure all shows have lights and sounds, and people do to said lights and sounds, that nothing stops working or explodes, and that all this is ready and amazing before the show goes on. As always all ideas, queries, testimonials etc are more than welcome so drop me a line at this address or y'know, talk to me.
Last year Adam was involved in both the chorus' of "Alladin" and "Fame". You may also remember him for his memorable roles as Reginald in "The epic Quest of Clyde" and as Luthor in the Robin Cafolla play "Forbidden".
